Hostels
The following hostels are available in Utrecht.
- Strowis hostel
- Right in the city centre, close to the bus line to the NWERC location. Ideal to combine city sightseeing and/or nightlife with the NWERC. Recommended.
- B&B Utrecht Centre
- Similar to Strowis in location. Also has a dependance a bit outside of the centre with private rooms.
- StayOkay Utrecht/Bunnik (HI)
- Just outside of the city in a green environment, suitable if you're not interested in clubbing until early morning, but rather enjoy the quiet surroundings. Not far from the NWERC location, but a bit cumbersome per public transport. Just 10 bike minutes under the trees, an half-hour walk, or 10 minutes by car though.

Utrecht has a large selection of hotels, which vary wildly in quality and price. Here's a small list.
- Van der Valk Biltsche Hoek
- A bit pricey, outside of the city but very close to NWERC.
- Hotel Oorsprongpark
- Two star hotel located between city centre and NWERC.
- Ibis hotel
- Not very central but reasonably priced.
- Bastion hotel
- Similar to Ibis.
- NH Centre Utrecht Hotel & NH Utrecht Hotel
- Three- and four star hotels, centrally located.
- Park Plaza Utrecht
- A four-star hotel located in the centre, next to the Central Station.
- Grand Hotel Karel V
- Utrecht's most luxurious hotel, with luxuriously high prices.

Outside of Utrecht
Having trouble finding lodging in Utrecht? The following are at a reasonable travel distance from Utrecht Central Station (CS).
- StayOkay Soest (HI)
- Not much to do in this quiet town, but there is a hostel and the train takes you in 20 minutes to Utrecht CS.
- Amsterdam
- The nation's capital is half an hour by train to Utrecht CS and very tourist minded. It's certainly a doable alternative when you can't find what you're looking for in Utrecht.
